Gate Repair

Phoenix Fabrication is your reliable gate repair and installation company. We offer superior service at an affordable price. We specialize in both repair and installation; therefore, we can accurately guide you on whether we can repair or need to replace the gate. Above all, our experts can usually repair a gate the same day or at the very least in a timely fashion. Most people underestimate the importance of having their gates professionally inspected and maintained by experienced professionals. It may seem easy or cheaper to maintain your gate by yourself, but it is never a safe or good idea. The products you would typically apply to lubricate and stop a noisy gate may actually be causing more damage. You could be destroying your gate by attempting to protect it and prolong its life. In short, allow the experts to properly repair and maintain your gates. We understand that it is not common knowledge and that is why we urge homeowners and business owners to contact us at the first signs of needing a repair.

Railing Repair

Most times the posts in the concrete are hollow and moisture builds up. The moisture buildup will literally rust the posts from the inside out. The best way to repair is to replace the entire post. When we replace the post on a handrail, we use solid bar stock. Solid bar stock is much stronger and will stand up to abuse much better than hollow tubing. The posts on your rail are typically sitting 4 inches into the concrete. The only way to replace a post on the rail is to remove the whole rail which means we must cut every post including posts that may not feel loose because they will have the same issues in time. Once the entire rail is removed from the steps, we then cut out all the old hollow posts from that rail, we cut to fit and weld in the new solid bar stock into the railing. Each post is painted. While the rail is out of the concrete, we core drill the concrete to remove the 4-inch stub remains of the original rail and to make a hole for the new posts to sit in. Once the new rail is aligned into the concrete we mix and pour hydraulic cement. The cement hardens in about 30 minutes and gives a super strong bond to the post.
